· Assistance with waste profile approval process and disposal company acceptance by completing waste material profiles and providing supporting documentation such as process knowledge descriptions, analytical data, MSDS, etc.
· Determining the most cost-effective and environmentally responsible disposal methods using proper waste characterization of waste streams generated on-site
· Maintaining inventories of all hazardous and non-hazardous wastes located on-site, tracking location of all wastes, generation dates, waste container contents, disposal due dates, satellite accumulation area monitoring, and movement of wastes to 90-day storage areas
· Conducting on-site facility inspections to ensure that proper storage containers are used, containers are labeled properly, wastes are stored in appropriate areas, satellite accumulation areas are used properly, and to ensure 90-day accumulation period is not exceeded
· Scheduling and coordinating waste shipments with disposal and transportation companies and completing waste manifests, DOT descriptions, and LDR forms
· Hazardous Materials Management Plans (HMMP) and Hazardous Materials Inventory Statements administered by local fire prevention agencies
· Spill Prevention, Control, and Countermeasure (SPCC) plans for aboveground tanks per Federal and State requirements
· Hazardous Release Response Plans and Inventory (Business Plan) programs
· Chemical handling and emergency response procedures required by the OSHA Hazard Communication Standard (29 CFR 1910.1200)
